The Unemployment Fund of Aaria

The members of the Finnish Ship’s Officers’ Union have been insured for unemployment by the Unemployment Fund of Aaria. When a union member becomes unemployed or is dismissed, he or she is entitled to earnings-related daily allowance. The amount of the allowance is determined based on the Unemployment Security Act.

The unemployment fund has arranged for additional insurance for the workers of flagged-out vessels. For more information, contact this unemployment fund.
